This is a live version of Joe Carter's song "Through the eyes of an eagle". recorded live at the Carter Fold in Maces Springs, Virginia. - Joe was the son of SARA and A.P. Carter of the Original Carter Family. He also made an own LP called "New Branches from old roots" - and recorded with his sister Janette (who started the Fold in the 80's) till shortly before his death. - He recorded also for some LPs with his parents and his sister and Mrs. Jimmie Rodgers for Pine Mountain Records.
